1) pratfall- a stupid and humiliating action
I tried walking down the stairs backwards and I pratfalled.
2) bewilderedly- to confuse or befuddle, especially with numerous conflicting situations, objects, or statements
I was bewildered to find out we had to memorize many formulas, for chemistry, for the upcoming week.

3) titillation- to excite pleasurably: arouse by stimulation
The dog was titillated when he saw people eating delicious  food.

4) theremin- an electronic musical instrument in which the tone is generated by two high-frequency oscillators and the pitch controlled by the movement of the performer's hand toward and away from the circuit
Many people these days don't know an instruments  such as the theremin exist.

5) tabloids- a newspaper having pages half the size of those of a standard newspaper, typically popular in style and dominated by headlines, photographs, and sensational stories
A lot of young people read tabloids just to find out about the latest Hollywood gossip.

6) centrifuge- a machine with a rapidly rotating container that applies centrifugal force to its contents, typically to separate fluids of different densities (e.g., cream from milk) or liquids from solids
A centrifuge can be very useful when making cheese because it helps the milk and water separate to make cheese.

7) haltingly- faltering or hesitating, especially in speech
While she was giving a presentation in front of the class she halted as if to think of what she was going to say next.

8) probing- seek to uncover information about someone or something
Detectives probe around for clues and information to help uncover their case.

9) stagnant- showing no activity; dull and sluggish
In the morning students are stagnant, but towards the ended of the day they are really active and outgoing.

10) cacophony- a harsh, discordant mixture of sounds
A cacophony would be the opposite of a symphony from the orchestra.
